The value of all the other resources mentioned here is completely dwarfed by petroleum oil. Just saying...

Do these kid nappings and marriage have a connection to NIGERIAS natural resouces ? ANGLOS always divide a country over Blood Diamonds, Gold, Presious Chemicals, Palm Oil...etc.

EXAMPLE ; MALAYSIA FLT. # 370 WAS CARRYING 5000 LBS. OF LITHIUM. WHICH IS USED IN EVERY CELL PHONE AND ELECTRIC CARS. THIS IS A VERY VALUEABLE RESOURCE TO KILL OVER.

rice is an agricultural produce, likewise palm oil and cocoa. cement is a produce of limestone. hence there are not natural resources.
please also correct the spelling of cocoa........not coaco. thanks

this is very misleading

It is amazing that Nigeria is blessed with abundance of natural resources. We need quality leaders to fully harness the resources to the maximum advantage of the citizenry. The States of the Federation that are insolvent and incapable of fulfilling their financial obligations toward their workers/civil servants and creditors should look inwards and take advantage of the resources at their disposal, otherwise they should bury their heads in shame and merge with more viable States. Period! Babatunde Adefila
